"AF THE NAYSAYER presents his sophomore EP Armed Wing Battle Unit, a Chillwave-inspired flight back to the 90's arcade scene. Inspired by classic games such as Raiden, Galaga, and Twin Bee; Armed Wing Battle Unit takes the listener on a whimsical tour of Future Beats through the perspective of an imaginary top-down shoot'em up. From the intro screen to the staff roll, Armed Wing Battle Unit replicates a bird's eye view of playing through quarter crunching arcade games. Listen as each score is textured with the same nostalgic tones that made quarters our favorite coins and malls our preferred hang-out."
